Mining Services
Crown Minerals
PO Box 1473
Wellington
Dear Mr Smillie
I refer to my letter to you dated 31 July 07.
To date I have not received a reply from you regarding these matters.
Accordingly, I have written to Hon. Damien O’ Connor MP to request that he try to help me resolve
my outstanding grievances with your Ministry.
Your administration and the Minister are well aware of the legal implications in the wake of the Ngai Tahu (Pounamu Vesting) Act and the combined impacts in relation to past and present statutory obligations.
If your office is not prepared to meet my requests for resolve of matters, after 19 years, then please have the decency of advising me why Crown Minerals feel that I have no legal rights whatsoever to the claims I am pursuing.
Rather than me repeating myself here.
I attach copies of my letters to Hon. Damien O’Connor MP, in order that you may get a better perspective of my opinions.
I now prefer you to reply to my lawyer on these matters, the address is:

Yours sincerely
